Insane Critter Finds in Anilao

capturing the elusive Kalinga Ornata Nudibranch

The most sought after critters have been changing through time. What started as hot finds in the past (Hairy Frogfish, Mimic Octopus, Ambon Scorpionfish etc etc) have been lately displaced by a fresh batch of 'perceived' hard to find subjects.
Have been a divemaster for just over a year... sharing my top far...

Golden Moray

Tiny and skittish, found this guy at Kirby's Rock at 14 mtrs inside a crevice

Idiomysis Shrimp

they are actually everywhere, just having a photo of these tiny hovering shrimps
makes you smile, they are close to 1mm in size. You find them almost anywhere,
just have to take a much much closer look

Lembeh Frogfish

also known as the Ocellated Frogfish, photo was taken at Secret Bay, 16 meters
hiding within the crevices of a coral block

Mosaic Octopus

taken by Samsung Note off Ooi's Nikon D7000, Matu Point wall on a cold February dive
